Winanga is the blog of Andrew Pidgeon, a 26 year old guy from Australia who is now living in Hong Kong.
The header image is a panorama created from three photos I took in Kending (墾丁), on the beautiful southern coast of Taiwan. More of my photos are located on my personal website, onebackpack.com, and on Flickr.
Winanga is a word from the Australian Aboriginal language Kamilaroi which was spoken in (what is now) northern NSW when Europeans began colonising Australia. It’s a verb that has four meanings: to hear, to listen, to know, and to remember. Basically the Kamilaroi word for blog!
